The merchant account stores and validates your customers’ credit card details and funds before depositing them into your business bank account. The gateway provides the portal between your customer’s transactions and the merchant account. You need both to process transactions online.

This Merchant Account and Payment Gateway allows for businesses located in Canada to process and settle transactions in USD.

USA Merchants have access to the DSS Compliance Program - this involves a $9.95 monthly PCI DSS Compliance Program and an annual questionnaire. Once the application is submitted, US Merchants please be on the lookout for a DocuSign email to collect an e-signature and verify the application details. AMEX on these accounts is priced at 3.50%.
